  John Orval "J.O." Furr, 96, of Letter Gap, died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2000, in Weston.
  Surviving are four daughters, Willa Bourn of Kingsport, Tenn., Wilma Jamison of Glenville, Wilda Barton of Big Bend and Wanda Krauss of Bedford, Ohio; one son, Waldon "Dean" Furr of Letter Gap; and 10 grandchildren.
  Services were held at Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., Glenville, with Rev. O.D. Harmon officiating. Burial was in Turner Cemetery.
