a. Note:   t the Marietta Center on Bartlett Street in Marietta, Ohio. She was born March 26, 1902 at Owens Run, Gilmer County, WV and was the daughter of the late Peter G. and Alice Arrena Rebecca Kuhl Sholes. She was a member of the Williamstown Church of Christ, where she belonged to the Jolly 60's group. Surviviors include her two sons, Clen H. Furr and his wife Louise of Vienna, WV and Eddie Lee Furr of Marietta, Ohio. Three grandchildren, Betty Hofmann of Parkersburg, Robert Furr of Belmont, WV and Nancy Reed of Marietta, Ohio. Also surviving are six great grandchildren, two great, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Thurman W. Furr, one son James H. Furr and two infant sons, six brothers and four sisters. Services will be held on Tuesday at 3:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Burial will be at the Eastlawn Cemetery, Reno, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 PM and one hour prior to services on Tuesday.
