Note: ystal Care Center. She was the daughter of Orvil Clifford and Edith Irene (ne White) Furr. Lorretta was born Nov. 3, 1936, in Mansfield. She had been a resident of Ashland since 1997. Lorretta attended the Carnegie Institute in Cleveland, where she earned her degree in 1957. She had enjoyed being a horse trainer and racing horses for 20 years. She was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church. Survivors include her niece, Linda (Will) Anderson of Ashland; along with her nephews, Brian (Lynn) La Rue of Ashland, Greg (Michelle) La Rue of Ashland and Donald (Marsha) Puster. Lorretta was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William E. Jones in 1997; brother, Carl Snare Jr.; and her sisters, Deloris La Rue, Mary Pauline Dials and Katheryn Lucile Puster. A private burial will take place in Marion Cemetery. Heyl Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
