Note: Cabarrus County, NC Will Book #2, page 39 (LDS Film #466,184) In the name of God, Amen! Know all men by these, that I, Catherine Furr, of the County of Cabarrus and State of North Carolina, being of a Sound and Disposing Mind and being desirous of arranging my temporal affairs, do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament. It is my will that my Body be buried in a decent and Christian manner. I will and bequeath to my beloved son, Paul M. Furr, my negro boy, Wilson, to him, his Heirs and Assigns forever. I Will and bequeath that the balance of my Estate, both Real and Personal, be equally divided between my children; Viz. George F. and Henry Goodman, Nancy Anne Fink, Lidia C. Holbrooks, and that the children of my daughter, deceased, Elizabeth Philips have her part of my Estate and that my son, Paul M. Furr have his equal part with the rest of my children. I do hereby appoint Henry Goodman and John Fink Executors to this my Last Will and Testament in testimony.
