 Mrs. Norman Hall A Suicide
 Financial Affairs Blamed for Act of Wife of Police Official.
 Mrs. Ophelia Hall, 47 years old, wife of Norman Hall, superintendent of the police telephone system, shot herself fatally through the head today in their home at 2801 Jarboe street. She died a few minutes later.
 Despondency over financial affairs was given as the reason for the act. Mr. Hall, who was summoned from police headquarters following the shooting, said there had been no domestic trouble of any sort and that Mrs. Hall apparently was well when he left home earlier in the day.
 Norman Hall, jr. 18 years old, told police who were called to the scene that his mother had called him to her room and that, just as he entered the doorway, she pressed a .25 caliber automatic pistol against her temple and pulled the trigger.
