She is listed as being 2 on the Passenger list in 1906, which would be right since she wouldn't have been two until Nov. and they came over in January. Left Bremen on Jan 13, 1906 on the SS Main for Baltimore, Maryland. Last Residence listed as Hechlingen for William Wirth, Barbara Weisinger Wirth and Marie Wirth. For some reason Wilhelmine was left behind in Germany..

I don't know when they moved to Chester St, but that is my first recollection of a house for them. They lived next door to the building that was once their bakery, at least that is what I was told, that they used to own that bakery. They lived there in 1923, when he applied for a passport to go to Germany to bring him Aunt Minnie.
Grand dad and I weren't very close, even though I lived with him for a few years. Of course, I was a very young child, and he was in his late 60's by then. He was probably wondering how he got stuck having an 8 year old living with him. He was very quiet, and I can picture him sitting in his chair, looking out the window, and later at TV. He was very upset, when Dad died. He kept saying, why, when I am so old and he is so young. He followed a few months later, probably glad to be with Grand mom and Dad. He is buried at Meadowridge Memorial Park along side Grand mom, and just a few feet from Aunt Annie and Uncle Fred, and Aunt Pauline and Uncle Roy.
World War I Draft Registration at Ancestry 1917-1918 - has the address of 400 S. Pulaski St, Baltimore Md own his own business, was a baker. Bakery and house the same address.

1910 Baltimore City Census Enumeration District 338 lists William 29, Barbara 27, Marie 7, Pauline 3 and Anna 1 1/2. They lived at 522 Payson St. They also had 2 boarders. This census was taken on 4/18/1910. Dad wasn't born yet. He was born October 21, 1910.

1920 Baltimore City Census Enumeration District 338 lists William,, Barbara, Marie 16, Pauline 13, Anna 11 and William 9. They lived at 400 S Pulaski St. This census was taken 1/5/1920.
But I found William at Ellis Island on a trip from Bremen to US on July 2, 1923, listed as American Citizen and living at 1844 N. Chester St (this is the house I remember). The manifest lists the passport 266819 Issued 4/11/1923 in Washington DC and Naturalization 1/30/1913 at the Supreme Ct.
The manifest also lists Wilhelmine Wirth on this ship. I can only assume that she was left in Germany when they first came over in 1906, since she isn't in the previous census.
