Note: In the Media section there are 2 Census pages. One taken on January 7, 1920 shows Julia Myers, Head, John Myers, Son and Albert, Grandson. It shows Albert age 16 working at a clothing store as an Errand Boy. The second taken on January 13, 1920 shows Walter Anderson, Head, Cora B, his wife and Gillette A Myers, Son, age 16 working as an Apprentice in a Department store. Are both of these, Gil?
Cora was 15 when she married the first time, but Dad, if he was born in 1900, would have made her 12 when he was born. 1930 census taken in April 1930, has him as 24, which would have made him b ca 1904 since his birthday is in December. He was listed as 15 in 1920. census taken on Jan. 13th 1920 making him b ca 1904, since his birthday is in December

My father was raised by Joseph Myers who Mumsy (Cora Sutton) said was her 2nd Husband.
My father thought his last name was 'Myers' until he went to apply for his Security Clearance to work at Glenn L. Martin Aircraft Co during WWII. He had to get a copy of his birth certificate and was shocked and confused and hurt to find out his real last name was Haegerich and not Myers.
