May 28, 2015 My late husband, David Vinson, had the greatest respect for Elmer, not only from his days as a law clerk, but, then, as a partner of Elmer's. David always said he learned from Elmer how to practice law. David told me a very funny story about Elmer giving him a case to try the day after he passed the Bar. I am sorry that I didn't learn of Elmer's death until recently so I could have been more timely with this condolence to Elmer's family. Michele Vinson, Eugene, Oregon Greg and family, I'm sorry to hear of Elmer's passing. My husband, Don, had so many fond memories and stories of your father/ husband. May God bless you and my prayers are with you all in this most difficult time. Theresa Teutsch-Bick, Eugene, Oregon May 14, 2015 Mr. Corson took the words out of my mouth. He was my first boss when I was in law school and I was always impressed by his humor, optimism, and sharp intellect. The faith he placed in me as a first year law student was incredible given that I knew absolutely nothing. A true litigation legend in our community. I wish I could make it to the service in Seattle. Marianne Dugan, Eugene, Oregon May 10, 2015 Elmer was a consummate professional and gentleman. When I joined the bar thirty years ago, he welcomed me with kindness, courtesy, and grace. I was struck then by how a man of such success and accomplishments welcomed an unknown newcomer. His style and approach continued in the many years afterward that our paths crossed. Don Corson, Eugene, Oregon
