Note: Like her siblings, Marla, Oliver, Karen and Sharon, Tess was a famous actress. The last film the remaining siblings made together, was 4 years after Marla’s death, and was directed by their father. There was a malfunction in some equipment in an action scene, and Tess was badly injured. But this did not stop Tess and Karen from pursuing dangerous roles as they grew older, and Karen died in an accident on set. Tess met Roger, a marine biologist, while his boat was near the location of one of her films. She had confronted him about inadvertently ruining one of her shots, but he was not intimidated by her wealth, fame, or beauty. She fell in love with him and they married. Her sisters Lindsay and Faith had no interest in acting. Lindsay, a fashion designer, came to the set to personally deliver one of her greatest gowns that was to be used in the film directed by Oliver, and starring Tess and her son, James, an up and coming actor. During a break in filming, she and her sister joined Tess’s husband on his boat, which was doing research near location, with King William, of Rundangh Island. The other royals aboard were her brother, King Oliver of Onscots Island, and niece, Queen Joy of Cooke Island. Everyone thought that they were safe, being so isolated at sea, so no one suspected that the kings and queen would be assassinated there, and several members of the Avenwell family were also killed, when the ship capsized.
