a. Note:   When Jeffrey’s wife died in childbirth with their son, he turned his back on Cooke Island, and moved to Newland. He began a relationship with Princess Faith Avenwell when he visited Avenwell Bluffs, never revealing to her that he was Prince Jeffrey, of Cooke Island. Their relationship was stormy and he came and went as he pleased, and they divorced.
  But on his father’s deathbed, the king made Jeffrey promise to make amends with the mother of his children. It was only then that Jeffrey returned to Faith and confessed that he was Prince Jeffrey. They married for the 2nd time, and moved to Cooke Island, where he was King from 1996-2011.
