Further information on the marriage date of Alfred and Sarah, middle names of the children and their birth and baptismal dates and locations is from the record books of the Salem United Church of Christ in Catasauqua, Lehigh, Pennsylvania.
The source for the death of Sarah Rutman is the Northampton County Death Register #5, p. 238.
There is an entry on the record books of the Salem United Church of Christ for the 3 Apr 1921 death and 7 Apr 1921 burial of Fred Rutman, aged 27 years. I have connected this record to Frederick Rutman, the son of Alfred Rutman, rather than to his relation in the same town, Frederick Rutman, the son of Thomas Rutman, the uncle of Alfred. The latter was born in Aug 1892 according to the 1900 census, and although the dates of birth are very close between both Freds, all records regarding Fred Rutman, the son of Alfred, indicate he was born in 1893 or 1894. That connects more closely with the Salem churches death listing of age 27 in 1921.
