The 1942 Pennsylvania State Death Certificate no. 66387 for unmarried May E Knerr lists parents as Joseph H Knerr and Jennie Knerr. The Pennsylvania State Death Certificate no. 73126 for Sarah Knerr (listed on the certificate as Sada) gives the names of parents as Joseph H Knerr and Jennie Watmore (or Walmore). The informant is sister Claudia Knerr. Claudia Ray Knerr's 1875 baptismal certificate from the Christ United Methodist Church in Easton states that parents were Joseph H Knerr and Mary J (probably for Jennie) Knerr.
