I cannot find my original source for the marriage date of 12 Jan 1826 for Reuben and Cassia and have searched online in vain as of 2018. However, when consulting Reuben's 1850 census record with second wife Sarah, the oldest Booten child in the household, Stephen Booten, is twenty one years old. This gives credence to Reuben's marriage to Cassia at least before 1829. This census is also the source for the second marriage of Rueben to Sarah. It is likely that this is Sarah's second marriage as there are teenage Canon children in the household as well as Bootens. This location fits, the names fit, and the marriage precedes the birth of the oldest Cannon child on the 1850 census cited above.
No record for the death of a Jeremiah Cannon has been found as of 2018.
