The record states he died of dropsy and was 11 years, 10 months, and 23 days, which is how his birthdate was calculated.
Allen's wife Rebecca was the daughter of Daniel Nance Jr and Livina Kingery. Allen Wilson was the son of Henry Wilson and Sarah Martin. Sarah's father was Benjamin Martin. This information can be found in the Lawrence County History Book , 1990.
