The source for the death of Elmina is Source Information: Ancestry.com. Pennsylvania, Death Certificates, 1906-1944 [database on-line]. Provo, UT, USA: Ancestry.com Operations, Inc., 2014. This is the source for the names and birth counties of the parents of Elmina. I might hesitate to accept the names of the parents without further research. Elmina does not seem to fit into the family of Jonas Rabenold, whose name is given as her father. And Jonas married Catharine Moyer, not Catharine Reichart, who is listed as mother on the certificate. CHILDREN: The source for the birthdate of Carolina Lydiann is Source Citation: Historical Society of Pennsylvania; Historic Pennsylvania Church and Town Records; Reel: 545. The source for his burial is Original data: Find A Grave. Find A Grave. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi: accessed 28 January 2013. The source for the marriage of Alfred is from the 1910 Pennsylvania census in which he is married to Maggie L and living with his father in law, Henry Reichart. The source for the death date of Alfred is his headstone in Cedar Church Cemetery, Allentown, Pennsylvania. THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE BIRTHDATES OF CAROLINA AND ALFRED DAVID. THE ORIGINAL RECORDS I HAVE CITED MUST HAVE A MADE A MISTAKE. I HAVE TRANSCRIBED THEM AS THEY ARE LISTED IN THE ORIGINAL BUT THE BIRTH DATES FOR CAROLINA AND ALFRED ARE NOT MORE THAN 9 MONTHS APART. The source for the birth of Robert Franklin is Source Citation: Historical Society of Pennsylvania; Historic Pennsylvania Church and Town Records; Reel: 545. Source Information: Ancestry.com. Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Church and Town Records, 1708-1985 [database on-line]. Provo, UT, USA: Ancestry.com Operations, Inc., 2011. Original data: Historic Pennsylvania Church and Town Records. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: Historical Society of Pennsylvania. The source for the death date of Robert is his headstone in Cedar Church Cemetery, Allentown, Pennsylvania. Robert F Ludwig obviously never married, as he is listed as single on the 1910 and 1920 census records. "United States Census, 1920," index and images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/MXS4-Z88 : accessed 09 Mar 2014), Robert Ludwig, South Whitehall, Lehigh, Pennsylvania, United States; citing sheet , family 355, NARA microfilm publication T625, FHL microfilm 1821590. He is living with his brother, Alfred D Ludwig, and wife Maggie, on the 1930 and 1940 census', and is listed at age 66 as single, not divorced. Source Citation: Year: 1940; Census Place: South Whitehall, Lehigh, Pennsylvania; Roll: T627_3547; Page: 19B; Enumeration District: 39-121. The source for the birth of Harvey is Source Citation: Historical Society of Pennsylvania; Historic Pennsylvania Church and Town Records; Reel: 545. Source Information: Ancestry.com. Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Church and Town Records, 1708-1985 [database on-line]. Provo, UT, USA: Ancestry.com Operations, Inc., 2011. Original data: Historic Pennsylvania Church and Town Records. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: Historical Society of Pennsylvania. The 'bef. 1880' death of Harvey is based on the above baptismal records in the late 1870's but his nonappearance on the 1880 census. It should be remembered that the 1900 census says that mother Elmina had given birth to eight children but in 1900 only four were living. It is likely that Milton was one of these children who did not survive aft. 1900. and I have so listed him. The source for the birth of Ida Susannah is Source Citation: Historical Society of Pennsylvania; Historic Pennsylvania Church and Town Records; Reel: 545. Source Information: Ancestry.com. Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Church and Town Records, 1708-1985 [database on-line]. Provo, UT, USA: Ancestry.com Operations, Inc., 2011. Original data: Historic Pennsylvania Church and Town Records. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: Historical Society of Pennsylvania. The source for the death of Ida is Source Citation: Historical Society of Pennsylvania; Historic Pennsylvania Church and Town Records; Reel: 545. The 'bef. 1880' death of Milton is based on comparing his entry in the baptismal records cited under his father's notes in the late 1870's, and his nonappearance on the 1880 census. It should be remembered that the 1900 census says that mother Elmina had given birth to eight children but in 1900 only four were living. It is likely that Milton was one of these children who did not survive aft. 1900, and I have so listed him. The source for the listing of Milton, who is not found on any census is Ancestry.com. Web: Pennsylvania, Find A Grave Index, 1682-2012 [database on-line]. Provo, UT, USA: Ancestry.com Operations, Inc., 2012. Original data: Find A Grave. Find A Grave. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi: accessed 28 January 2013. There is no date given for death but he is listed as the son of F. and E. Ludwig. The source of the birth of Anna Maria is Source Citation: Historical Society of Pennsylvania; Historic Pennsylvania Church and Town Records; Reel: 545. Anna is listed as Anna on the 1880 census but Emma on the 1900 census, and given a birth month of February 1879. The listing on the 1900 census is obviously a clerical error.
Note: This family is shy one child. The 1900 census states that Elmina is th
