Notes
a. Note: 909 Pennsylvania biographical sketch for his brother, Ephraim Ludwig, in 'The History of Mercer County', published in 1909, pg. 680, we read the list of Ephraim's siblings as follows, ..."Henry, a carpenter of Oklahoma." Henry was then found on the 1900 Noble County, Oklahoma census living with Jennie, Source Citation: Year: 1900; Census Place: Watkins, Noble, Oklahoma; Roll: 1340; Page: 6A; Enumeration District: 0154; FHL microfilm: 1241340.
This Oklahoma Henry is connected with Henry Ludwig, son of Abraham and Anna Ludwig based on an 1897 Noble County Marriage Certificate between Jennie Hargis and Henry Ludwig in which his birthplace is listed as Pennsylvania and parents are A. Ludwig and Anna Gangawere.
Henry's subsequent history is unknown. The Ohio obituary for his sister, Emmeline Ludwig from the 28 June, 1918 Medina Gazette, states that she was survived by four unnamed sisters and one unnamed brother. As Francis and Charles had both died prior to 1918, this means that either Henry or Austin were alive in 1918.
The obituary from the Greenville Evening Record 22 March, 1921 of sibling Eliza Anna Heile states that she was survived by only one brother, which at the time of this writing could be either Henry or Austin.
Henry and Jennie divorced. Jennie is found on the 1910 Noble County census with daughter Theresa and listed as divorced. She had resumed her first married name. Source Citation: Year: 1910; Census Place: Perry Ward 3, Noble, Oklahoma; Roll: T624_1264; Page: 19A; Enumeration District: 0153; FHL microfilm: 1375277.
Henry's birth year of January, 1851 as found on the 1900 Noble County census alluded to above is a clerical error, and I have changed it to January, 1850. Henry is found as an infant on the 1850 Mercer County, Pennsylvania census of his parents, Abraham and Anna Ludwig, so he could not have been born in 1851.

Erhman- Reference: Spencer County, Indiana, Index to Birth Records, 1882 - 1920 Inclusive, Volume 1, Letters A - K Inclusive, Book: R-2, Page: 13
The parents are listed as Jennie Hall and William T Hargis
The source for the first marriage of Jennie Sonora Hall to William T Hargis (Hargess) is Ancestry.com. Indiana, Select Marriages, 1780-1992 [database on-line]. Provo, UT, USA: Ancestry.com Operations, Inc, 2014. Original data: Indiana, Marriages, 1780-1992. Salt Lake City, Utah: FamilySearch, 2013. FHL Film Number: 549445, Reference ID: 549445 p.163.
The birth place and age of William T Hargis cannot be determined with certainty at the present, although it is likely 1850 in Indiana. There is a William Tip Hargis living as a single man on the 1880 Spencer County, Indiana census, the county of the marriage and birth of children.
