Note: as several Public Member Family trees on Ancestry.com which recorded the marriage for a James Platt born in Ohio in 1870 with Grace. Upon pursuing documentation to insure that this James Platt was the same James Platt as the son of Isaac Platt and Eleanor Martin I found the following marriage certificate:

While I have not been able to consult the original, the transcription of the names of James' parents are, Father: Isa and Mother: Martin.
Grace had at least three husbands and some trees have undocumented sources for more. This record has some faulty information as Grace is listed as only being married once before, not twice. There is no indication on the original as to whether she was widowed or divorced from James H Platt. This document is the source for the birth year and location of George and the names of his parents.
