Thomas was in Northampton County in the mid 1850's, as he is referenced in the following deed: Deed Book #23, page 25 Thomas Musick, boatman & wife Maria of North Whitehall to Samuel Laub, cooper of East Allen Township, Northampton Co. Amount: $730 Description: 4 acre lot in North Whitehall Township acquired from Charles & Sarah Troxell on 1 Mar.1855. Thomas must have moved his family temporarily to Indiana by the 1860 census on which he appears, and then back to Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
