Mary and Jacob are listed on the 1910 Florida census which is the source for the birth year and location of Jacob.
The source for the location and 'abt. 1901' marriage for Mary and Jacob is the birth year of their first child, born in Lawrence County, Ohio, and the fact that Mary was single living with her parents on the 1900 Lawrence County, Ohio census.
Mary's obituary in the 16 December, 1938 Leesburg (Florida) Commercial states that she was survived by five sisters- Josephine, Susan, Alice, Emma, and Minnie- and two brothers- Lemuel and Isaac Dow. The reference to Lemuel must be wrong as Lemuel's death certificate is from 1935, three years prior to this obituary. Perhaps James, whose date of death is not known as of 2014, was meant instead of Lemuel.
