Note: ot found a citation for this date which is documented by primary sources, and considering his documented 1819 marriage to Rhoda Hanks, 1802 is more reasonable. [Subsequent research found a source for the birth date of Enoch from a photocopy of a page from the Barber Family Bible which I have seen. "Documentation for birth-death-marriage. Gordon Burney, PO Box 515, Summerland, FL 93067. Letter received Nov, Dec 1993 by Marilyn P Devaney. Photocopy of family Bible sent to Gordon by Dave Moore, Sarasota, FL, 21 March, 1993." The page was sent to me by Marilyn Devaney listed above. It reads: "Enoch Moore was born the 30th of September 18 --- (illegible)]" The source for the marriage to Rhoda Hanks is Source Information: Ancestry.com. This is the source for the her birth place and approximate year.
