Note: out in a circuitous way. I was first pointed to this union by a Public Member Family Tree of Dmacness. The 1900 Lehigh County census given points out that Nathan T Williams was 81 years old but his wife Mary E was 49, giving her the same birth year as Mary Freyman was given on the 1870 census with parents Carl and Lovina. (see notes under father). This document is the source for the age and birth location of Nathan and the year of their marriage. "United States Census, 1900," database with images, FamilySearch(https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M33R-TXX : accessed 14 December 2016), N T Williams, District 2 Allentown city Ward 1, Lehigh, Pennsylvania, United States; citing enumeration district (ED) 54, sheet 11A, family 217, NARA microfilm publication T623 (Washington, D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, 1972.); FHL microfilm 1,241,429. It is on this evidence that I connect Mary E Williams, the wife of Nathan T with Mary Freyman, daughter of Carl and Lovina Freyman. Mary is found on FindaGrave.com online in the Egypt cemetery listed as w.o. Nathan T. Williams. The dates are oddly enough 1850-1904, not 1851 as on the census above. Birth: 1818 Death: 1901 h/o Mary E. Williams Burial: Egypt Cemetery Egypt Lehigh County Pennsylvania, USA It is not known for certain whether or not Nathan T Williams married prior to marrying Mary E Freyman at age 60. There is a Nathan Williams, merchant, on the 1850 Mauch Chunk, Carbon County census living with a woman two years older than him named Rebecca Williams (the 1850 census does not indicate relationships). This could be a wife, though there are no children, or a sister. Ten years later we find an N T Williams, shopkeeper, in the same city on the 1860 census living alone in what may be a boarding house.
