Note: Christian probably died young. From 'Register Report for Johann Jacob Rottmann (both marriages)' provided in 2016 by researcher JD Smith and in possession of Neil Rutman I quote:
"Christian Rottmann was born on 30 Jul 1810 in Schmitshausen bei Wallhalben, Pfalz, Bayern.
Notes for Christian Rottmann:
General Notes: Probably died young. No indication that he survived to confirmation. He is not listed in the confirmation records."
As confirmation was generally done at about age 13 or 14 a 'bef. 1823' death has been given Johann Christian.
