Another source for Joseph Lieberman's marriage to Lillie is his obituary in the ‘Easton Express’ on 2 Jul. 1930, page 5. In this record Lillian is referred to as 'Lillian Hawk Lieberman.' The source for (at least) one of the children of Joseph and Ida (who had other children listed in the records of St. Peters Church, Plainfield) was found by genealogist Dick Musselman who wrote the following to me in 2014: Dear Neil, ...A search of Northampton County Marriage License applications found no entry for Ida S. Rissmiller and Joseph Lieberman between Dec.1886 and Jun, 1891. If the couple was married during this period of time, I would suggest the license was obtained in another county or in the state of New Jersey. A further search at the Marx Room of the Easton Public Library found the following: St. Peters Plainfield Cemetery: Ida Lieberman 14 Aug.1868 – 16 Feb. 1897 Annie May Lieberman 15 Mar.1891 – 15 Sep. 1891(daughter of Joseph & Ida) Wind Gap Cemetery: Joseph W. Lieberman 1863 – 1931 Lillian M. Lieberman (wife) 1894 – 1949 (same stone as Joseph) I found no obituary for Ida Lieberman in the ‘Easton Express’ newspaper. The St. Peter’s Church records listed entries for several children for Joseph & Ida Lieberman (not copied). The obituary for Joseph Lieberman was published in the ‘Easton Express’ on 2 Jul.1930, page 5. I have given the marriage of Joseph to Lillie the 'aft' 1897' date based on the death of first wife, Ida.
