Philipp Rottmann was born on 22 May 1832 in Schmitshausen bei Wallhalben, Pfalz, Bayern. He married Elisabetha Hauck on 18 Sep 1862 in Saalstadt bei Wallhalben, Pfalz, Bayern. Kirchenbuch der Luther Gemeinde Wallhalben und Saalstadt., Trauungsregister entry for Philipp Rottmann, son of Johann Jacob Rottmann of Schmitshausen, and Elisabetha Hauck of Saalstadt.
He died on 09 Mar 1868 in Schmitshausen bei Wallhalben, Pfalz, Bayern. Civilstandsregister Schmitshausen, Death register entry for Philipp Rottmann, gebürtig zu Schmisthausen, 35 J. alt.
