Note: o, Marriages, 1800-1958," index, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/XDKV-R9S : accessed 11 Sep 2014), David P. Freeman and Sarah Ann Runyon, 02 Mar 1875; citing Lawrence,Ohio, reference ; FHL microfilm 0317719 V. 11-12. The source for the birth, death, and burial dates and location of David P Freeman is his Ohio State Death Certificate, File no. 56137, no. 273. This certificate lists his father as David P Freeman but the mother as Nancy Tatem instead of the correct Nancy Martin. It is obviously a mistake in recollection of names. See notes under the father, David P Freeman. The source for the approximate birth year and location for Sarah is from the 1880 census. "United States Census, 1880," index and images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/M89F-V2T : accessed 11 Sep 2014), Sarah A Freeman in household of David P Freeman, Ironton, Lawrence, Ohio, United States; citing sheet 205B, NARA microfilm publication T9. There are children born to this couple on the 1880 and later census records. The source for the second marriage of David Parker Freeman to Marietta is "Ohio, County Marriages, 1789-1997," index and images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/XD4H-Z6Z : accessed 29 Oct 2014), David P. Freeman and Marietta Lowe, 19 Jul 1905; citing Lawrence, Ohio, United States, reference V20 P538; FHL microfilm 317723. Whoever provided the data about the parents of this couple had faulty information. It is hard to see why the couple themselves did not provide it. David's mother's maiden name is wrong, and listed as 'Wallace' and Marietta's mother's first name is unknown and the maiden name is listed as 'Belteny' with a question mark after it. This was the first marriage for Marietta, and David P was a widower. David's obituary from the Morning Irontonian of 28 Oct, 1914 gives Marietta the name of Mary E., though she is referred to as Maryetta on the 1910 Lawrence County census. This obituary is the source for the middle name, Parker, for David.
