Note: 10 Oregon census records which state that he was born in Virginia, and not Ohio as his siblings. I have chosen to list the county of birth as Wayne, since that was the place of Stanford and Cassandra's marriage three years earlier. The marriage of William Boyd to Ella is from Lawrence Co Ohio Marriage, Book 12, page 536. His second marriage to Estelle J in 1888 originates with the 1900 Oregon census and is verified by the 1910 Oregon census.

The obituary for Ellen Winters Moore from the Ironton Register is as follows:
JUN. 14, 1883 Dropped dead - We learn that Mrs. Boyd Moore, daughter of Geo. Winters fell dead from her horse last Sunday while on her way to Sunday school at Lebanon, and near her home, back of Burlington. Heart disease was the cause of her death. The deceased was about 25 years old. She held a child in her arms when she fell, which was uninjured.

I also have recollection of Stanford Moore as an old man sending me genealogical information through correspondence when I was a teenager. He was my grandmother's cousin.
