Note: Johann Adam probably died young. From 'Register Report for Johann Jacob Rottmann (both marriages)' provided in 2016 by researcher JD Smith and in possession of Neil Rutman I quote:
"Johann Adam Rottmann was born on 30 Dec 1808 in Schmitshausen bei
Wallhalben, Pfalz, Bayern. Reformierte Kirchenbuch der Pfarrei Rieschweiler (Zweibrücken, Pfalz), Baptismal entry for Johann Adam Rottmann, son of Jacob Rottmann and wife Eva Catharina Keller of Schmitshausen.
Notes for Johann Adam Rottmann:
General Notes: Probably died young. No indication that he survived to confirmation. He is not listed in the confirmation records."
As confirmation was generally done at about age 13 or 14 a 'bef. 1821' death has been given Johann Adam.
