Note: e 1850, 1860, 1870 and 1880 NorthamptonCounty, Pennsylvania census records. On the 1850 census there is a Hereth Knerr (spelled Knarr on the census), age 20, and a Mary Knerr, age 2, living in the family. As neither appear as children on the 1860 census with this family I have not included them as children. Perhaps they are relatives of John Knerr. Son James Knerr is transcribed on one census as James J Knerr, an obvious mistake, as his marriage certificate listing the names of his parents gives it clearly as James Erwin Knerr.
