Crawford and Sarah Corbin, 31 May 1857; citing Lawrence, Ohio, United States, reference bk 6 p10 no 1037; county courthouses, Ohio; FHL microfilm 317,717. The source for the birth state and year of George and Sarah, and confirmation of the marriage year, is "United States Census, 1900," database with images, FamilySearch(https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MMDC-77N : accessed 18 October 2017), George Crawford, Lawrence Township, Lawrence, Ohio, United States; citing enumeration district (ED) 70, sheet 12A, family 212, NARA microfilm publication T623 (Washington, D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, 1972.); FHL microfilm 1,241,292. Name George Crawford Event Type Census Event Year 1900 Event Place Lawrence Township, Lawrence, Ohio, United States Gender Male Age 66 Marital Status Married Race White Race (Original) W Relationship to Head of Household Head Relationship to Head of Household (Original) Head Years Married 44 Birth Date Apr 1834 Birthplace Ohio Marriage Year (Estimated) 1856 Father's Birthplace Kentucky Mother's Birthplace Virginia George Crawford Head M 66 Ohio Sarah Crawford Wife F 59 Ohio Cyntha J Crawford Daughter F 15 Ohio Another source, perhaps more accurate, for the birthdate and location of Sarah is her Ohio State Death Certificate. This gives her birth date as 8 April, 1839 instead of April 1841 which appears on the 1900 census above. I have used the former. This same death certificate lists her parents as Wm. Corbin and Peggy with an illegible last name that could be Weller, Miller, or something close, both born in Ohio. On the 1850 Lawrence County census there appear a William Corbin with a Margaret Corbin in Union, both of an age that could be the parents of Sarah. They are living with another couple of the same age and there are no children present. "United States Census, 1850," database with images, FamilySearch(https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MXQJ-PPW : 12 April 2016), William Corbin in household of James Acres, Upper, Lawrence, Ohio, United States; citing family 351, NARA microfilm publication M432 (Washington, D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, n.d.). However, when I look for Sarah Corbin on the same census I find a Sarah A Corbin in Lawrence township in the household of Elliot and Lucinda Corbin. "United States Census, 1850," database with images, FamilySearch(https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MXQJ-MCX : 12 April 2016), Sarah A Corbin in household of Elliott Corbin, Lawrence, Lawrence, Ohio, United States; citing family 81, NARA microfilm publication M432 (Washington, D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, n.d.). I have not included parental names pending more research. The source for the birth and death dates and locations for George Crawford is his page on FindaGrave.com online.
