There are two Lawrence County marriages for a William Martin- one in 1864 and the other in 1873- and at present (2015) it is not possible to connect either of the two to the son of William and Nancy Martin.

I believe neither of these are the son of William and Nancy. The first died in Cowley County, Kansas in 1936 (born in Ohio the same year as my William and wife's name was Eliza Jane ) but this man was from Irish parents according to his death certificate. The second is listed in several Family Trees on Ancestry as the son of Benjamin and Nancy Chessman Martin.
Note: The marital and death history of William Martin is not known as of 2016
