This couple is found on the 1860 Virginia census. It is assumed that David, Floyd, Amanda, and Malinda are Nancy's children and the last three are Matilda's.   Subsequent research in 2016 found the FindaGrave.com page for this couple, and their birth and death dates are transcriptions from their headstones in the Centerville cemetery. The following undocumented but interesting information accompanied Matilda's page on FindaGrave.com:
"Matilda Parsons George married Lewis Bledsoe Austin 9 Sep 1856 in Grayson, VA. They had 7 children between 1857 and 1865. The family owned a plantation but lost everything after the Civil War. They removed from Virginia to Radersburg, MT, in 1872, traveling from Corrine, UT, to Radersburg, MT, in a covered wagon. Her husband, Lewis Bledsoe Austin, owned a hotel and ranched in the Radersburg area and later owned a hotel in Jefferson City, MT. In her later years, Matilda Parsons George Austin lived with her daughter, Lucy Victoria Austin Willcox in Centerville, MT (very near present-day Townsend, MT, and not far from Radersburg). She died 15 Jan 1894 at the age of 70 and is buried in the Willcox family plot near her daughter Lucy in the the Centerville cemetery."
The above reference to their marriage in Grayson County is a mistake as the marriage record cited farther above lists Mercer County.
