Connecting this marriage to Andrew Johnson, the son of William Johnson, is based on the fact that there are no other Andrew Johnsons in Lawrence County on the 1860 census, and the age fits.
There is an undocumented note on a family tree on Family Tree in Family Search that this marriage ended in divorce. There was evidently a child named Perry born in 1867 in West Virginia. According to this tree Mary Scarberry married second Zachariah Daughtery in Jackson County, West Virginia in 1871.
