The source for the name, deathdate and burial place of Monroe's wife, Mary Moser, and the deathdate and burial place of Monroe is from his greatgranddaughter, June Giancarlo, sent in an email June 26, 2010.
The source for the name of the parents of Mary is her Pennsylvania State Death Certificate and the informant was Monroe Rutman. File no. 15561, no. 28. It seems that Mary's commonly accepted maiden name as Moser may have been a previously married name or a mistake as the surname of her father on this certificate is Decker.
Subsequent in 2017 research confirms the above suspicion that Mary's maiden name was Decker. On the 1947 marriage certificate of her son Charles M Rutman, her maiden name is listed as Decker.
