The birth year listed on FindaGrave may be off. Most citations for Nancy's marriage to Burwell are 1823, and if she was born as per the FindaGrave site in 1809 she would have been 14 at the time of marriage. While this is not impossible the birth year of 1796, given by many other sources, is also a possibility.
Note the conflict in birth years listed for wife Nancy on the page above- 1803 and 1809. Studying the photo of the headstone the date 'looks' like 1803, which is the date I have used.
The 1870 census gives Nancy's birth year as 1805-1806.
