Notes
a. Note: PARENTS: The sources for the reconstruction of the family of Richard Werner are the:
1870 Northampton Pennsylvania census, Source Citation: Year: 1870; Census Place: Moore, Northampton, Pennsylvania; Roll: M593_1383; Page: 325B; Image: 150; Family History Library Film: 552882.
1880 Northampton Pennsylvania census, Source Citation: Year: 1880; Census Place: Moore, Northampton, Pennsylvania; Roll: 1162; Family History Film: 1255162; Page: 181D; Enumeration District: 91; Image: 0371.

The source for the birth, death, and burial of Richard Werner is Source Citation: Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission; Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Pennsylvania Veterans Burial Cards, 1929-1990; Archive Collection Number: Series 1-13; Folder Number: 528.
The source for the birth and death dates of Richard's second wife, Catharine, is their mutual headstone in the Wind Gap Cemetery, Wind Gap, Northampton, Pennsylvania. Catharine's birth date conflicts here slightly with the 1900 census cites above in which she is listed as being born in Jan 1840 instead of Dec 1840. I believe the headstone is likely to be more accurate.
The source for the maiden name of Catharine is "Pennsylvania, County Marriages, 1885-1950", database with images, FamilySearch(https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VFMN-F3W : 24 September 2017), Richard Werner and Catherine Hinkelman, 1890.
On this record she appears as Mrs. Catharine Hinkleman, which means she was married before. On find her Pennsylvania State Death Certificate no. 128269 she is the daughter of Joseph Heller and Susan Frederick.
Catharine is found on the 1880 Northampton County census as the wife of Adam Hinkleman. This is the source of the birth location and year for Adam. The 'bef. 1860' marriage date is based on the remaining child in the household.

The source for the birthdate and baptism of John Wesley Werner is Source Citation: Historical Society of Pennsylvania; Historic Pennsylvania Church and Town Records; Reel: 550. Here his birth date is listed as 8 September.
John Wesley's birthdate is listed as 8 November on his World War 1 Draft card. Source Citation: Registration State: Pennsylvania; Registration County: Northampton; Roll: 1907405; Draft Board: 2.   The source for the first marriage of Henry Thomas Werner to Lizzie Werkheiser is "Pennsylvania, County Marriages, 1885-1950," index and images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/KHN6-RKZ : accessed 17 Feb 2014), Henry Thomas Werner and Lizzie C Werkheiser, 26 Feb 1902; citing , Northampton, Pennsylvania, United States, ; FHL microfilm 902819. This is the source of the birth locations and dates for Henry and Lizzie.
The source for the second marriage of Henry Thomas Werner to Nettie Frutchey is Henry's WW1 draft registration card listing wife as Nettie Werner. "United States World War I Draft Registration Cards, 1917-1918," index and images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/K6VT-JQN : accessed 17 Feb 2014), Henry Thomas Werner, 1917-1918; citing Northampton County no 1, Pennsylvania, United States, NARA microfilm publication M1509, (Washington D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, n.d); FHL microfilm 1907348. Henry's birthdate is the same on this card as on the marriage certificate to first wife Lizzie Werkheiser
This is supported by Henry T Werner of the same age listed on the draft card with wife Nettie in Northampton County on the 1920 and 1930 census. Source Citation: Year: 1920; Census Place: Upper Mount Bethel, Northampton, Pennsylvania; Roll: T625_1609; Page: 12B; Enumeration District: 162; Image: 217.
The source for the birth and death dates of George P Werner is his mutual headstone with his father and stepmother, Catharine, in the Wind Gap Cemetery, Wind Gap, Northampton, Pennsylvania. George P may have never married. He is found on the 1920 census and listed as single. Whether the S is a literal s for single or a generic careless s for divorced or widowed cannot be determined definitely without further research. The fact that he is buried without spouse near his parents tends toward single. Source Citation: Year: 1920; Census Place: Upper Plainfield, Northampton, Pennsylvania; Roll: T625_1609; Page: 3A; Enumeration District: 155; Image: 10.
Subsequent research has proved George P(eter) Werner was single. His Pennsylvania State Death Certificate no. 103542 lists him as single. This certificate is the source for his date and place of death and burial.
