  Not sure what i've already told you but i have some more information so i'll just tell you everything i've found out recently.
  Jay was called Jessie Gertrude Nowell born 17th April 1901 at St Leonard street Peterborough. She married a Reginald Parker and had 4 children.
  I also found Kay, which i was really excited about as no-one seemed to know much about her. I think i already told you that she wasn't Frederick Nowells daughter and was born to Alice before marriage. Well her real name was Kathleen Annie Leighton born 8th May 1898 in Grimsby. I found her after finding out she was illegitemate and finding Daniel Leightons will naming a Miss K Leighton i knew she must have been born just before his death. I now also know that as a young child she didn't live with Alice but visited a lot and finally came to live with Alice as a young woman. Kathleen lived with a Mr Henry Hitchbone and his wife Rachel in Stanground North hunts. Henry was a railway engine driver. There is no fathers name on Kathleens birth certificate so i'm not sure whether Henry is her father, or part of the family or just a close friend. As he and his wife are registered as having adopted Kathleen but her name always remained as Leighton and like i said she always knew who her real mother was and had a lot to do with her. Kathleen came to live with Alice after Henry and Rachel Hitchbone had died.
