a. Note:   Everett "Midge" and Claytie had no children and were later divorced.
  The following obituary was published in the Telegraph Journal, Quoddy Tides or the St. Croix Courier for Midge.
  Everett Brown
  Everett (Midge) Brown, 73, died at the Grand Manan Hospital July 20, 1983.
 He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 44, Grand Manan and her served two years overseas as well as in Canada.
 Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Earl (Clara) Worthen, Mrs. Robert (Ellen) Harvey, Mrs. Winthrop (Doris) Moses and Mrs. Eric (Faye) Lucas; two brothers, Floyd and Herman; one aunt, Mrs. Lyle Richardson; a number of nieces and nephews and cousins.
 Funeral services were held at the Wesleyan Church, North Head with Rev. Stephen Bradley officiating, assisted by Rev. Dean Brown and Rev. John Hammond. Internment was at North Head in the family plot.
 Legion members attended in a body forming an honor guard and took part in the service at the graveside.
