 Arlington, Ky., May 5 -
 Funeral services for Samule Vance Brown, 80-year-old retired farmer, were held at 3 p.m. Monday at Arlington Baptist Church with the Rev. R. E. Sasser officiating. Burial was in Columbus Cemetery. Pallbearers were F. H. Tegethoff, Archie Flegle, H. L. Jackson, Otis Johnson, Frazer McConnell and Dick Meacham.
 Mr. Brown, a Spanish-American War veteran, was found dead in bed about 8 a.m. Saturday by his wife, Mrs. Della Brown.
 Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, David Brown of Burbank, Calif., and Sammy Brown of North Miami, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Roy Garrison and Mrs. Dick Meacham of Paducah; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
