Notes
a. Note:   H47
Note:   In a ceremony performed by William Farrar, Justice of the Peace, Mary Ann Marcela Johnson married April 23, 1842, in Perry County, Missouri, Joseph C. Farrar. Joseph C. Farrar was born (calc.) January 15, 1818, Lincoln County, North Carolina, died April 2, 1893, in Perry County, Missouri, and interned April 4, 1893, Shiloh Church Cemetery. The date of birth for Joseph C. Farrar might be off by one day due to the fact that he died at midnight according to Missouri vital records. He is the son of John Burton Farrar, born September 24, 1795, in North Carolina, and died December 13, 1865, interred at York Chapel Cemetery in Longtown, Perry County, Missouri. The grandfather might be John Farrar, born August 1, 1758, Goochland County, Virginia, and married May 31, 1783, Elizabeth Abernathy, born about 1760 in Lincolnton, North Carolina. John Farrar was a Captain in the Revolutionary War and fought under the command of General John Seiver.
