WILL OF ABNER EDDINS LIPSCOMB

Know all of these presents that I Abner E. Lipscomb of the State and County aforesaid do make and publish this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making null and void any and all instruments of writing simulating this that may have at any time here to fore been made by me.
I do here by make and ordain my dear wife, Mary A. Lipscomb Executrix of this my last Will and Testament giving in her full power and authority to sell and that she shall not be compelled to give bond, but shall divide one half of my property real and personal among our children after paying all indebtedness, then to divide the one half equally among our children, after making them all equal in the accounts which they have already received and of such amounts I herewith make a statement to the best of my knowledge as follow: to wit
Nancy B. Smith ($1500) Fifteen Hundred Dollars
Sinai E. Atmar ($800) Eight Hundred Dollars
Carrie M. Dotson ($1000) One Thousand Dollars
Jesse S. Lipscomb ($1500) Fifteen Hundred Dollars
William Lipscomb ($1500) Fifteen Hundred Dollars
Abner S. Lipscomb ($1500) Fifteen Hundred Dollars
These amounts do not include amounts loaned for which I hold interest bearing notes, such as I hold against Jesse S. Lipscomb and against Abner S. Lipscomb, but such money as I have given, and for which I hold no notes. The notes I hold against Jesse S. Lipscomb and Abner S. Lipscomb respectively shall be recognized and considered a part of my property, and the specified rates of interest shall be charged in full upon said notes. The balance say one half and no more of my real and personal property shall be held by my dear wife Mary A. Lipscomb as her portion to have and to hold and to dispose of as she may choose. My wife Mary A. Lipscomb shall have power to sell either private or public as may be desired by those interested in the Estate and she shall be allowed ample time to make the various distributions, say two years if thought necessary by those concerned.
