Note: 1839 : Emigrated from Dartford, Kent to Port Jackson, New South Wales. Family history - James and Susannah Hukins came to NSW with their four sons four daughters, a son-in-law and one year old grandson on board the Cornwall. This ship left Dartford, Kent on Sunday May 5th 1839 and arrived in Port Jackson on 1st September 1839.
They were all free settlers and came as government immigrants.
