Note: Kilbaha is a small village located near Shannon on the seacoast on the west coast of Ireland in County Clare.

We have been unable to locate any verifiable data or connections for Bernard Keating or his wife. All the information we have is from old family word of mouth documentation.
The spelling "McNearney" is the one in our old family lineage compilations but most references in County Clare Irish genealogical sites seem to have only the surnames "McNerney" or perhaps "McInerney" listed.
There was a family named McNerney in the 1901 census in County Clare, Rossalia Townland, Abbey DED, (Bridget McNerney, widow aged 60, with daughter Kate 28 and son James 27. That Bridget had been born in Co. Galway, the children had been born in Clare.
