Note: James died at age 25. - we previously had his name as James Walker, Jr., but the family gravestone in Abbey cemetary, in Arbroath, Scotland shows that he was named James Birrell Walker after both his father and mother.

From the family photo showing the whole family it appears that James was the eldest, then Alex, then Will, then Kate, Mary and Jessie (if the people are correctly identified).
