Note: Aunt Rose was for some years a companion to a wealthy woman. This was apparently after her husband had died. Robert K McConeghy III remembers mostly remember visiting her as a child at a nursing home in Massachusetts.

Matthew's age was given as 31 in the on-line transcription but that is obviously an error the correct age was probably 51.
William Mewburn is given as "brother" but he would have been Margaret's brother, so he would have been "brother-in-law"
Grace Mewburn, is given as "sister-in-law". They were Margaret's older brother and sister
"U" stands for "unmarried".

It is difficult to read the ages, they have all been X'd out probably by the data tabulator
Rosamund was in fact 15 years younger than her sister, she was the baby of the family.
The handwriting was not too legible.
Apparently Rosamund was just visiting because she was counted again below at her parent's house

No profession or employment status was recorded for any of them, so perhaps they were not at home,
which may make their places of birth in question as that information may have been supplied by a
neighbor or have simply been assumed by the enumerator.
Note: Rosamund, age 14, is shown both here and also living with her married sister Elizabeth G Hammond
The English census supposedly enumerated people at the place they had spent the night the day of the census,
so if people were travelling or visiting they were counted where they were.
Somehow Rose appears to have been counted twice !
Margaret's age is incorrect here. The image definitely records her age as 49 here, but the transcription of the 1881 census showed her as 49 then and the 1901 census clearly shows her as 69 then so she must have been 59 in 1891.
Son Matthew was actually listed as a daughter, but his age was recorded in the male column.
