Notes
a. Note:   Walker Family Bible reads" John W. William Walker was born July the 14th A.D. 1849"
The extra W. is probably an erroneous duplication of William.
His birth entry comes out of sequence in the family Bible. It should have been between Joseph and Charles, but actually follows the entry for James Barton D. Walker
John apparently died in childhood. He does not appear with the family in the 1860 census.
