Notes
a. Note:   Walker family Bible reads "Jacob Walker and Hannah [Wagoner]? was barried(sic) 20th of of(sic) October in year 1867 by David (or Danel] Giles of Huntingdon County in Pennsylvania"
Her maiden surname is very unclear. It is believed to be Wagoner (possibly from other family sources ?) but I have difficulty recognizing that in what I can see on the page. It might be Wagner or any other possible combination of letters
Hannah's maiden surname is is believed to be Wagoner (possibly from other family sources ?) but I have difficulty recognizing that in what I can see on the page in the Walker Family Bible. . It might be Wagner or any other possible combination of letters. It could even be something like Hragoner but probably was Wagoner.

The 1860 census for Orbisonia Borough, Huntingdon Co shows a Christ(?) Wagoner, age 22 working as a laborer and living with a husband and wife in their 60's. (Job and Mary Shim (?) also a laborer) This may be a connection.
The 1860 census for Clay Township (Shirleysburg PO) where the Walkers were living in 1860 shows a family of Samuel Wagoner, with a daughter named Ann who was 14.
Also in 1860 Clay Twp, an Abram and Charlotte Wagoner, both 51, with 7 children, but no Anna or Hanna.
In 1850 Abraham and Charlotta Waggoner with 10 children (including Allison and Anderson)
Also in 1860 Clay Twp, a William Wagoner, 58, stonemason, wife Hannah, 55, and living in same house Allison (male) Wagoner, 25, carpenter, and probably wife Priscilla, 22. In 1850, the same William Waggoner (48) was living with Abraham,
 Also in 1860 a William I. Wagoner, 35, Master Mason, wife Mary, 29 with 3 daughters , ages 1 to 7.
Also in 1860 a Cinderella Wagoner, 17 living with a family named Glasgow, possibly as a servant
and next door to them an Anderson Wagoner 24, laborer, with wife? Isabella, 18 and an Elizabeth Wagoner, 40.
Abraham and Charlotte also had a daughter Cinderella but she was living with them in 1860.
Also in Clay Twp 1860 a Mary Wagoner, 62, son? George, 25, Emily, 15 this was the widow of the
1850 Christian Waggoner, 54, stonemason, with wife Mary 51, son William 24, stonemason, and Ann, george, Eliza, and Emily
The most likely match in 1860 is George Wagoner, 46, Blacksmith, with no wife and 9 children aged 2 to 23, one of which was Hannah 14,
I have selected this family as Hannah's for now.
The 1860 census for Elklick Township in Somerset Co, PA has a Hannah B. Wagoner, age 15, working as a servent for Joseph and Elizabeth Briely(?) she had attended school within the year and was born in PA. No other people were living in the household.
This might possibly be our Hannah, the age is about right. But that is not exactly in the neighborhood of where the Walkers were living.
I note a significant number of unoccupied houses recorded in the census of 1860. I don't know if this is an indicator of economic problems n the area, or if the recording of unoccupied houses was usually not done in the census and this enumerator was just being careful.

address: Third Street (no numbers recorded)
Hannah Walker, head, age 55, widow, born Dec 1844 in PA, parents born in PA, had 6 children, 5 living,
could not read or write, rented her house
David F. Walker, son, age 31, single, born Oct 1868 in PA, parents born in PA, occ: day labor
George W. Walker, son, single, age 27, born Nov 1872 in PA, parents born in PA, occ: day labor
Emma A.(?), daughter, single, age 23, born April 1877 in PA, parents born in PA, had 1 child, 1 living
Florence Grisethen(?), grand-daughter, age 9, born March 1891 in PA, parents born in PA , at school
Frank R(?). Hampton, grandson, age 0/12, born May 1900 in PA, parents born in PA
Emma A. is a problem, she is marked as single but also as having had 1 child, but 9 year old Florence is also marked as having had 0 children which is normally not done. Is Emma the same as the Maggie of the 1880 census whu was also born in 1877 ? Maybe she was named or called after the daughter who had doed in 1875 ? Florence's surname is unclear it might also be Grinthen or similar but no such surnames are found in the 1900 PA index.
The grandchildren are a mystery, both have diffrent surnames so muct have been children of Walker daughters - the 2 missing onces here are Annie who would have been 31 in 1900 and could have been the mother of Florence, or Clarra who would have been 28 in 1900 so could also have been Florence's mother, either could have also been Frank's mother, or perhaps Frank was Emma's child out of wedlock ?
Were Annie and Clarra now dead, that their children were living with their grandmother and uncles and aunt? or were the children just temporarily living here? And how or why did the family move from Huntingdon County to Mifflin County ?
Note that George at least is buried in Orbisonia with his father and perhaps david and Hanna are there too.
There was in Rockhill/Orbisonia in 1900 the family of an Ephram and Louisa Hampton, they had had 7 children with 5 living, and only 2 were living with them then. One of their sons might have been the father of Frank Hampton, possibly one of the deceased children ?
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------
We finally have a photo of Jacob and Hanna's gravestone in the Orbisonia Cemetery thanks to Sue Smith.
 It reads :
 JACOB WALKER 1844-1879
 HANNAH, HIS WIFE 1844-BLANK
 EMMA E. D. 1874-1875
 GEORGE W. 1872-1911
 DAVID F. 1867-BLANK
Since Hanna's death date is blank, possibly she perhaps had purchased the stone perhaps in 1879 when Jacob died, or possibly
in 1911 when George W. died. Since her death date was never inscribed, nor was David F.'s I assume that they both died sometime after 1911 when George W. died. The style and condition of the stone look more likely to have been a stone from 1911 so it may have replaced an older stone or maybe there had been no large stone prior to this one.
I assume that Hannah and David actually are buried in the plot but that there was no one left to arrange for the adding of their dates.
We had no previous knowledge of an EMMA E.D. and since she apparently died between censuses she would not have ever been counted.
But she may be identical to the Maggie E.D. age 3 listed in the 1880 census, in which case the stone is incorrect at least for the death date.? Perhaps they were twins and one died ?
All our data on Jacob and Hannah's children comes from the Walker Family Bible, the 1880, 1900 censuses and this stone so far (Nov 2003)
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------
Since George and David F. are buried with their parents, I assume they never married or had children.
I don't know what became of Annie and Clarra yet.
