Note: Walker family Bible reads
"Joseph Walker and Rebeca E. Hooper was married thiss 2nd day of November, 1865
by Alvy Chilcoat Esqr. of Huntingdon County, Penn."
Alvy Chilcoat was probably Alvah Chilcoat, a wealthy farmer listed in the 1870 census (age 67) of Cromwell Township, Huntingdon County on page 565-B. He may have been a lay preacher, or an official of a local church or held a civil post such as Justice of the Peace ??
The Walkers were living either in Clay or Cromwell Township in 1865.
we have no source for a birthdate for Rebecca, our only source for her name is the marriage entry in the Walker Family Bible.

Rebecca Walker, 63, widow, born in PA, both parents born in PA, own income
She lived on Hare's Valley Road.

The age and year is possibly correct for this to be our Rebecca
Still looking for her in the 1850, 1860, 1870, 1880 and 1920 censuses. We had no family information on where Joseph and Rebecca lived exactly other than we supposed it was in Pennsylvania.
If she was a widow in 1900 and 1910 that establishes a better approximate death range for both her and her husband Joseph.

in the 1880 census for Cromwell Twp, Huntingdon Co, PA there is a John A. Hooper, 32, farmer and family.
He might have been a brother of Rebecca Hooper. They are on pg 14 (324-B), genealogy.com image 10 of 28.
