Note: Family tree records indicate that she was from Emporium, PA. and was the daughter of Swiss immigrants. 1920 census supports this. She may have been born in Emporium. 1920 census supports this.
According to Eulalia cemetery records in Coudersport, Frances McConeghy Philo, before she died, said there was a stilborn baby of Alma and James McConeghy buried near the large McConeghy memorial stone (in section D lot 39 Eulalia Cemetery, Coudersport) We have no other knowledge of this.

the Wellesboro PA Gazette of August 18, 1927 reported in the social notes (for Elkland ?) that
Mrs.James McConeghy, Miss Ida Hertig, Mrs Raymond and children of Coudersport
were guiests of the Misses Donovan on Saturday
[Mrs McConeghy was the former Alma Hertig sister of Ida hertig, Mrs Raymond was Mrs McConeghy's daughter, the former Alma Verena McConeghy. The children were Jack, Jeanne, and James Raymond. (Alma raymond and children were living with her parents in Coudersport, her hisband Asa having died in 1926) I don't know who the Misses Donovan may have been, I assume they were some sort of relations]
