a. Note:   he Kemp High School in Bryan, Texas. He then went to the Dunbar High School in Mexia and in 1934 was Principal of the High School at Sour Lake. In 1936 he became principal of the H. T. Scott High School in Woodville, Texas. He was a principal at Dunbar High school in Lufkin from 1940 to 1946. Afterward he moved to Houston and went into real estate.
  He is included in the book "A Sure Foundation and Sketch of Negro Life in Texas" published in 1936 by A. W. Jackson.
