  Willard "Bill" Clintell Thomas Sr., 84, passed away on Friday, Jan. 8, 2010, at home in Crowley.
 Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors. Interment: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
 Willard was born Aug. 13, 1925, in Fort Worth and was raised on the North Side. He graduated from I.M. Terrell High School. He served in World War II in Germany and was honorably discharged in May 1946. He was later employed as a warehouse foreman for Coors Distributing Company and personal assistant to John McMillan for over 30 years before retiring in 1990.
 Special thanks to Dr. Oommen and Dr. Barker of Texas Oncology, Dr. Rowena Maclin, Harris Methodist Hospital, Guardian Healthcare, Freedom Hospice and all of the doctors and nurses who cared for Willard Sr. during his illness.
 He was preceded in death by his parents, Luke and Mary Elizabeth Thomas; his siblings, Esther Thomas, Virgil Thomas and Anita Knowles.
 Survivors: Faithful and loving wife of 39 years, Faye; son, Willard Jr.; daughters, Beverly, Willie Faye, Debora (Montie), Karen (Willie) and LaWanda; stepsons, Rodney and Theodore; 17 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and many wonderful friends.
